Here I show you how to make homemade mouth-watering Raw Vegan Pistachio Ice Cream !
It's vegan, gluten-free, simplistic, and dreamy! You can use an ice cream mixer or even a loaf pan.
Ingredients & Directions:
Using a blender, combine ingredients, and blend on high until smooth ~
- 1 cup soaked, shelled pistachio nuts (or try any nuts!)
- 1 tsp matcha green tea powder
- 1 tsp spirulina powder- 2 tsp vanilla extract (or try almond extract)
- 1/2 cup agave nectar syrup
- 1/4 tsp sea salt 1 can coconut cream (or coconut milk)
Tip: taste your mixture and if needed, adjust accordingly.
Using a stand mixer + ice cream attachment bowl and paddle ~
- pour into frozen attachment bowl and churn 15-20 min
- freeze in bowl or transfer to bowl/pan and freeze 2+ hours
- remove from freezer and thaw for 5-10 minutes or until soft enough to scoop, and devour!
*Or using a loaf pan ~
- pour into pan and freeze overnight (to achieve very creamy texture = break into chunks and re-blend until smooth)
- remove from freezer and thaw 10-15 min
Scoop into bowls or atop cones and enjoy! Excellent to top with bright pomegranate seeds, crunchy pistachios, chocolate chips/syrup, seeds, dried fruit, etc.
